Supported by Fundo Vale, the Synergy Program is part of the Amazon Journey Platform and it is aimed at startups located in the region, or that affect it. The goal is to enhance around 100 innovative businesses by the end of 2025.

Applications to take part in Synergy, a free program coordinated and executed by the CERTI Foundation, will be open on the program’s official website until May 10. This initiative, part of the Amazon Journey Platform and supported by Fundo Vale, seeks to create and strengthen a pipeline of startups to enhance the Amazon region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Synergy is focused on legally registered and active companies that are in the business model validation or traction stage. In order for companies to participate, their business solutions must have the potential to contribute positively to the bioeconomy of the Amazon region and to the competitiveness of intact forests.

As well as boosting enterprises by promoting valuable connections with markets, investors, catalyst organizations and other stakeholders, the objective is to strengthen around 100 startups by the end of 2025. In all, 80% of these startups must be located in the Amazon region and the others must benefit the region in some way.

Structure of Synergy Program

During the four-month program, the supported businesses will participate in training with specialists in multiple areas and have access to individual mentoring with relevant professionals from different business and innovation ecosystems in Brazil.

Those selected also have the opportunity to connect at Serendip Day, an online event where investors, large companies and other organizations are invited to present their businesses. At the end, the startups that complete the support process will have unlimited access to the Amazon Journey’s business network, giving them great networking opportunities.
