Innovative startups and established businesses can now take part in AMAZ’s third Call for Business Proposals, by submitting initiatives aimed at helping keep the Amazon Rainforest standing while generating income for the people of the Amazon region. Entrepreneurs have until April 12 to apply in several thematic areas, as specified here. If selected, they may receive a series of benefits and an investment of up to R$400,000.
The new call for proposals is a major step for the Amazon Impact Accelerator (AMAZ) in strengthening the Amazon’s bioeconomy. One of the initiative’s first supporters and investors was Fundo Vale, which played an essential role in the accelerator’s growth and development.
In line with Fundo Vale’s purpose, AMAZ seeks to identify and support innovative businesses that are already carrying out activities in a practical and operational manner, which are generating solutions to the main social and environmental problems in the Amazon, conserving or restoring areas of forest, harnessing knowledge and biodiversity, generating income and improving the quality of life for rural and riverside communities.
