In April, Hugo Barreto, the president of Fundo Vale, and Guilherme Oliveira, the manager of the Vale Institute of Technology (ITV), took part in a seminar called “Fruturos – The Amazon of Tomorrow.” The event was hosted by the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro, as part of its temporary exhibition called “Fruturos – Amazon Times,” which will run until June 12.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Vale Cultural Institute. Some of its content was produced by Fundo Vale, ITV and the Maranhão Vale Cultural Center, in line with their goal of presenting new discoveries about the relationship between forests and climate, as well as showing how the Amazon urgently needs to be protected.
