Industry Day, May 25, was celebrated in Belém with a discussion about businesses that support forest preservation and the Amazon’s people. The Pará State Federation of Industry (FIEPA) chose sustainability as the central theme of this celebration, held in May. 
 
Recognizing the importance of establishing a more sustainable future for industrial companies and the environment, FIEPA invited Fundo Vale to participate in the event and provide an example of action by the private sector in favor of forest conservation and habitat restoration through a more sustainable economy. 
 
During the debate, Márcia Soares, Fundo Vale’s partnerships and networks leader, shared the work carried out by Fundo Vale, focusing on examples of support for businesses with positive social and environmental impacts in the Amazon. The aim was to inspire other companies to take social and environmental measures in their corporate practices
