Event held in partnership with Fundo Vale and Latimpacto
On November 8, a roundtable discussion called “Investment Funds and Impact Journey” took place at Cubo Itaú in São Paulo. Hosted by Cubo ESG, Cubo Investors and Itaú, in partnership with Fundo Vale and Latimpacto, and supported by Numerik, the event offered guests a platform for debate on how investment funds can not only leverage financial returns, but also promote significant social and environmental transformations.
Fundo Vale was represented by Letícia Zuardi, who joined Jana Silva from Cubo ESG, Marcela Falcão from Cubo Investors and Pedro Telles from Latimpacto. During the roundtable, the participants explored their experiences, challenges and opportunities, sharing strategies for integrating social and environmental impact into their investment theses.
“We are living in a decisive moment in which investment cannot just be a vector for financial return. Integrating social and environmental impact into investment theses is a challenge, but also a huge opportunity to make the economy more resilient,” said Zuardi.
During the meeting, the participants were also invited to take part in two events in December, organized by Latimpacto in partnership with Fundo Vale. These events will bring together members of the network, investment funds, family offices, angel investor groups and corporations interested in exchanges and in-depth discussions on impact investment. In addition, the participants will be invited to join an “educational journey” initiative to be launched in 2025.
